Star Fireworks professional firework design and technology
Star fireworks use FireOne™, the world's most advanced digital fireworks firing system and choreography system for all major shows. Fireone™, the Photoshop® of the fireworks world, is a suite of hardware and software that has become synonymous with precise and accurate fireworks displays.
Used to fire some of biggest shows the world has seen, FireOne offers incredible in-studio design features together with incredible reliability and durability, essential in the British climate and a feature often lacking in cheaper systems.
Music
Working closely with our client, we create a musical master track – frequently a selection of familiar pieces of music edited together, carefully chosen for their suitability for fireworks choreography, using your ideas and themes and our experience and imagination. Whether for a short 3-minute show or a full-scale pyromusical with synchronised lighting and lasers for a theme park, the musical score is the starting point and provides the foundation on which we build the show.
Computer Choreography
Once the soundtrack has been agreed, the music is loaded into the design software. Our designers maintain a database of thousands of different fireworks and effects in an array of types, sizes and colours. As the music plays, the designers 'drop' fireworks onto the audio track – and the revolutionary software knows the duration of the firework and when it needs to be fired to appear at a certain point. Other technology from lights to lasers can be added in at this point. The sophisticated software can even create an animated visualisation of the display– the designers can see how the performance will look, without the expense of actually firing it. These artificial dress rehearsals allow the display and timings to be tweaked until the show is ready to be fired.
Field Operations
Star Fireworks state-of-the-art firing systems offer an endless range of possibilities for set-up and firing sites. FireOne's total digital command structure and precise microprocessor or controlled firing system is completely flexible for large or small shows. Rooftop firing sites across a city centre, or firing locations situated on floating barges or dry land can easily be connected by cable or by wireless radio transmission to the command post, for perfect synchronisation to the music. The firing systems are just as at home firing a rugby club show in November or a town centre Christmas Lights celebration as they are firing a major city centre display or complex show linked in to a studio gallery for precise cueing by a television director.
