Environment

Star fireworks take the responsibility of minimising the environmental impact of our business operations very seriously. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through our environmental management policy, which seeks to make our business and actions sustainable, by promoting the use of products, suppliers and procedures that have less of an impact on the planet.

Environmental Impact Assessment

For large scale projects and displays we can undertake an environmental impact assessment to assess the possible impact a proposed project may have on the natural environment. In consideration of the positive and negative consequences of the event, we will study the nature of the event, the environment in which it will take place, any significant effects of staging the event along with mitigation that can be taken to avoid any negative impacts.

Environmental Management Policy(BS8555)

We are committed to complying with all relevant environmental legislation, and train our staff within an environmentally aware culture in ways of protecting the environment by preventing and minimising our contribution to pollution of land, air and water. We continually monitor and develop our processes to ensure that environmental factors are considered during planning and implementation.

Sustainable Event Management Systems (BS8901)

Star Fireworks is committed to reducing the impact of any social, economic and environmental factors created by our events, and aims to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible. We use a range of initiatives including seeking to resource locally and use our nearest crews to a specific site. We minimise transport to only essential needs, carefully planning logistics movements to minimise our use of fuel. We use local suppliers and sustainable supplies where possible.
