January 2009, Ulrika Jonsson was crowned winner of Channel 4 Television's Celebrity Big Brother 6. Star Fireworks have designed and fired the finale night fireworks for the show since 2002.
When Ulrika left the house, hundreds of fireworks she was met by hundreds of fireworks that blasted into action around the famous house. For 2009, Star Fireworks have introduced a brand new very exciting range of 'ice' fireworks and special effects. The new range full of vibrant colours were tested in situ at the house in mid-January '09 and made their UK debut live on Ulrika's moment of winning glory
The now legendary Big Brother fireworks designed by Star Fireworks have grown massively in size and complexity over the last eight years and are one of the most viewed firework displays on TV in the UK. Even presenter Davina McCall praises them - on one of the eviction shows leading up to the Celebrity Big Brother 6 Finale, she encouraged everyone to watch the final showdown and said in her own inimitable style - 'there will be some really nice fireworks...' There certainly were. Watched by a crowd including Verne Troyer, La Toya Jackson, Coolio, Terry Christian, Tina Malone, Ben Adams, Tommy Sheridan, Lucy Pinder and Mutya Buena and millions across the UK, the Star Fireworks Celebrity Big Brother 6 finale show was the best we've ever done.
